Abstract

Our students’ needs and styles have definitely changed in the last few years. And so have the required skills to be successful in the 21st century. Technology has come to stay, transforming our society and our daily practices. The use of ICT tools in the classroom has become imperative. However, using technology at school does not guarantee quality and innovative education. In this sense, the role of educators is key: to transform learning environments in multimodal but meaningful ones. How can technology become that ally that paves the way towards a real 21st century classroom?
